2.5 Fault Location Procedures
!
WARNING
If, at any time during operation, the Adflo
®
Turbo Unit
stops, or the airflow to the headpiece stops or is
reduced, or if the user detects an odor or taste of gas,
or feels eye or throat irritation, or if either the battery
alarm or the low airflow/high particle load alarm is acti-
vated, the user must immediately leave the contaminat-
ed environment and perform the Fault Location
Procedures on the Adflo
®
Turbo Unit. Failure to perform
the Fault Location Procedures when any of the above
conditions occurs could lead to contaminant exposure
resulting in serious bodily injury or loss of life.

1) Check & remove blockage or
obstruction

2) Fully discharge & charge the
battery pack 3 times, as per
Section 2.1
3) Install a new, fully-charged
