The symbol on the device indicates that it is not permitted to suspend any item
(e.g. towels, clothing etc.) above the appliance or directly in front of it. To
prevent overheating and the risk of fire, the heater must not be covered.

This symbol indicates that the appliance is classified as protection class 2
(double insulated).
Class 2 appliances are not connected to the earth of the electricity supply.
Instead, they feature an enhanced or doubled insulation up to the rated

Accordingly, electrically conductive surfaces or other parts that can be touched
are isolated by an enhanced or doubled insulation from live parts.
