10 Option Menu

After using your NavMate Navigation System for a while, you may want to

explore and adjust some of the available system options. From the

Main Menu

screen, press the button and the

Option Menu

screen is displayed.

Preferences

Upon selecting the

Preferences Option Screen

The Preferences screen displays four system adjustments, as follows:

Map Scale

– Indicates the default map scale in miles per inch of screen for

the

Map Display

screen. (Refer to “Map Display Screen” on page 38 for

more details.) Can also be changed by pressing the button on map
screen.

•

Map Orientation

– “Heading Up” means the direction of travel is at top of

the screen. “North Up” means North is at the top of the screen. Default is
“Heading Up.”
