Fore-edge Trim Section Adjustments

Infeed Belt Pressure Adjustment

- Adjust the pressure of the infeed belts to match the

booklet weight.

- Increase the pressure of the infeed belts if the

booklet stops at the entrance of the fore-edge trim
section.

Infeed Belt Gap Adjustment

- If a small booklet is transported from the upstream

device to the fore-edge trim section at a low speed,
the booklet may stop at the entrance of the fore-
edge trim section.

- In this case, narrow the gap of infeed belt.

How to Adjust

Loosen the locking screw as
shown in the illustration to the
right and lower the pulley.

- Adjust both the front and rear pulleys by the

same amounts.

Tighten the locking screw.
