For a drop-type holder
Pass the detector through a holder, drop the holder in measured liquid, and set up the holder
while the tip of the detector is soaked in the measured liquid.
Set up the detector at a location where it can be easily pulled up or maintained.
Use a SUS-made drop-type holder if the holder length exceeds 2 m.
Place the holder at a location where a typical concentration of sludge in a tank can be
measured.
When the detector is pulled up, measured liquid might be concentrated and adhered to the
detector. If the detector is pulled up while clean water is poured, this makes it easier to
perform the work.
Moreover, if the detector is attached while clean water is poured, this makes it easier to pull up
the holder the next time.
Note
Before inserting a drop-type holder into the detector, attach an adaptor.
