Installing the Honeywell Wireless Communication Card
The Honeywell wireless card (TB-VWG-APP-1014) and related Honeywell TB7200, TB7300, and TB7600 wireless thermostats
use ZigBee/IEEE 802.15.4 physical layer for communication. The WEBs-AX controller with the wireless communication card acts
as network coordinator device for the IEEE 802.15.4/ZigBee network used with the Honeywell wireless thermostats.
A recommended typical maximum of:
•
30
wireless thermostats can be supported by a single WEB-2xx controller
•
50
wireless thermostats can be supported by a single WEB-600 or WEB-700 controller
The theoretical maximum of number of thermostats supported by a single WEBs controller is dependent on the resources
available for the WirelessTstatNetwork driver .jar file and the extent of integration added to the station itself. When additional
functions and services are added to the station, the available resources for the driver will be less. Once you have configured the
station for the wireless network and all other features (graphics, services, histories, alarms, etc.), you should monitor the
resources so that they do not exceed the recommended limits for each specific platform.
Refer to the
Wireless Communication Card for TB7200/7300/7600 Installation Instructions
supplied with the TB-VWG-APP-1000
communication card for detailed information on how to install the wireless communication card in a WEBs-AX controller.

NOTE: The wireless communication card must be installed in option slot 1 on WEB-2xx and WEB-6xx controllers and installed
in either option slot 1 or slot 2 on a WEB-7xx controller.
