3. Installation

3.10. Remote antenna

SmartLine Wireless Temperature and Universal I/O User's Manual

Step

Action

CAUTION

There may be wires in the wall. Before drilling check that the area is clear of any
obstructions or other hazards.

Pull the cable through the hole and form a drip loop on the outside close to where the cable
enters the building. The drip loop should have a radius of at least 12 inches (30 cm).

Thoroughly waterproof the lead-in area.

Connect the lead-in cable to the SmartLine Transmitter. Tighten cables by hand only; do not
use tools or you could overtighten.
