alarm condition.
5.4.2.4 Pattern

In addition to the ON, OFF and DELAY modes, the following modes of operation are available.

All pulsing-related modes will pulse outputs set to ‘can pulse = Yes’ from the P.C. programming tool.
For loop-powered Hochiki sounders the ‘can pulse’ attribute should be the same for all sounders
sharing the same pattern.

RESULT: Sounder circuit controller A will be immediately activated in a pulsing mode when a fire is
detected in zones 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11 or 12. After 10 seconds, the sounder will change from
pulsing sound to continuous sound.
•
Pulsing durations can be set in multiples of 10 seconds up to 1800 seconds (600 seconds is the
maximum time allowed in the EN54 standard).
