5. Set all the ActiveX items listed below to either Enable or Prompt :
• Allow previously unused ActiveX controls to run without prompt
• Allow Scriptlets
• Automatic prompting for ActiveX controls
• Binary and script behaviors
• Display video and animation on a webpage that does not use external media player
• Download signed ActiveX controls
• Download unsigned ActiveX controls
• Initialize and script ActiveX controls not marked as safe for scripting
• Run ActiveX controls and plug-ins
• Script ActiveX controls marked safe for scripting
Note The ActiveX items to be enabled may vary depending on the version of Internet
Explorer that you are using.
6. Click OK to confirm the settings and then click OK again.
7. Restart Internet Explorer for the new settings to take effect.
To restore the default security settings:
1. Open Internet Explorer.
2. Click the gear icon (or
Tools menu), and then click Internet options .
3. Click the Security tab, click Default level , and then click OK .
4. Restart Internet Explorer for the new settings to take effect.
Logging in to the Web Client
1. Open the IPC Tool and click Refresh . The discovered cameras are listed.
2. Select a camera from the list.
3. On the
Device Information tab, click Web Page .
