Door strike for AC function
An
can be realized via a door strike at the latch bolt when the system is in a disarmed
state. A fail secure door strike or a fail safe door strike can be used as a door strike.
- Strike with load current function
- Strike with no-load current function
The AC function is active when in a “disarmed" state.
PIN codes and/or keys (data carriers) can be authorized for door release when programming the con-
trol panel.
Authorization is followed by a
The door can also be released via a button or an internal reader. This function corresponds with a
normal door strike.
If the door break-in identification is activated, the door may only be released from inside via the input
AC release button. Otherwise an intrusion alarm will be triggered.
The catch bolt is unlocked when power is applied. Should the power
supply fail, the door is locked.

power supply fail, the door is unlocked.
If the used door strike is equipped with a monitoring contact, this can be used for monitoring
purposes. The monitoring contact reacts automatically to the door position "Open" or "Closed". The
contact is closed when the door is closed.
Depending on the type of door strike being used, program the control panel as a "Strike with no-load
current function or strike with load current function".
The input for the monitoring contact (ST3) can be allocated to a bolt switching group via the
programming of the control panel. A bolt switching group only affects the positive drive condition.

Important note!
Only supply the door strike with power from an external voltage source!
(e.g. U_ext. from the control panel or another external source with 12 V DC or 12 V AC).
Ensure that there is
between 0 V ope-
rating voltage of the door strike and 0V of BUS-2
no connection
.
Should there be a connection in the door strike between
the coil and the monitoring/armature contact, the actuati-
on of the respective input must be connected via a
potential free relay contact.
