4. Remove the left caliper assembly (4).
5. Remove the right caliper assembly (5)

from the fork leg by removing the fixing
bolts (6).

To avoid damage to the brake hose,
support the caliper assembly so that it
doesn’t hang from the hose. Do not twist
the brake hose.

(4) Left caliper assembly 

Do not depress the brake lever and brake
pedal when the caliper assembly is
removed.
The caliper piston will be forced out of the
cylinder with subsequent loss of brake
fluid.
If this occurs, servicing of the brake
system will be necessary. See your
Honda dealer for this service.
