SERVICING YOUR PUMP
ENGINE OIL CHANGE
Drain the oil while the engine is warm to assure rapid and complete draining.
Do not run the pump without priming water. Dry operation will burn the seal.
1. Place a suitable container below the engine to catch the used oil, and then
remove the oil filler cap, drain plug, and sealing washer.
2. Allow the used oil to drain completely, and then reinstall the drain plug and a
new sealing washer. Tighten the plug securely.
TORQUE: 18 N∙m (1.8 kgf∙m, 13 lbf∙ft)
Improper disposal of engine oil can be harmful to the environment.
If you change your own oil, please dispose of the used oil properly. Put it in a sealed
container, and take it to a recycling center. Do not discard it in a trash bin, dump it on
the ground, or pour it down the drain.
3. With the engine in a level position, fill with the recommended oil (see page
34) to the upper limit of the oil filler neck.
Maximum oil capacity: WH15XT: 0.59 US qt (0.56 L)
WH20XT: 0.61 US qt (0.58 L)
4. Reinstall the oil filler cap securely.
Wash your hands with soap and water after handling used oil.
