Check the tachometer drive gear for wear or 
damage. 
 
Install the tachometer drive gear, washers 
and new dust seal. 
 
 
 
 

INSTALLATION 

 
Check the water pump shaft for wear or 
damage. 
 
Install the water pump shaft to the right 
crankcase cover. 
Install the washer and water pump impeller. 
 
 
 
Hold the water pump shaft using the 
spanner. 
Tighten the water pump impeller to the 
specified torque. 
 

TORQUE: 12 N.m (1.2 kgf-m, 9 lbf.ft) 

 

 
 
Check the water pump driven gear for 
wear or damage. 
 
Install the drive pin to the water pump shaft 
hole. 
 
Install the water pump driven gear to the 
pump shaft aligning the groove on the 
pump gear with the drive pin.
