Presión de los Neumáticos

PASO 66:
Verifique y apriete los rayos de las ruedas, en caso de que
sea necesario.
Compruebe si están flojos golpeándolos con un
destornillador. Apriete los rayos que presenten un sonido
muy bajo o diferente al de los demás.

Ajuste del Faro

NOTA
En caso de que sea necesario el ajuste, afloje los pernos de
fijación (2) y deslice la parte inferior del faro para ajustar
verticalmente el foco del faro.
Apriete los pernos de fijación después del ajuste.

PASO 68:
Ajuste de los Espejos Retrovisores
Coloque la motocicleta en un local plano y asientese en
ella. Para ajustar el ángulo de visión, vire el espejo
retrovisor hacia obtener la mejor posición de visión de
acuerdo al peso y posición de pilotaje del cliente.

Nunca presione el espejo retrovisor contra el vástago de
soporte durante el ajuste. Si es necesario hacerlo, afloje la
tuerca de fijación y mueva el vástago de soporte hacia el
lado opuesto para obtener el ajuste del espejo retrovisor.
Ajuste la luz del faro de acuerdo a las
reglamentaciones y leyes locales.
Un ajuste inadecuado del faro puede perjudicar la
visión a los conductores que transitan en sentido
contrario o podrá no iluminar la pista de modo
adecuado, comprometendo la seguridad del piloto.
• Los nipples de los rayos son confeccionados en
metal blando.
• Asegúrese de aprietálos con una llave de rayos (1) de
tamaño adecuado. Compruebe si después del apriete
de los rayos estos no presentan alabeo excesivo.

STEP 66:
Inspect the spokes for looseness by tapping them with a
screwdriver.
If a spoke does not sound clearly, or if it sounds different
from the other spokes, tighten it.

TORQUE: Front spoke 4 N.m (0.4 kgf.m, 2.9 lbf.ft)
Rear spoke 4 N.m (0.4 kgf.m, 2.9 lbf.ft)
TOOL:
Spoke wrench, 5.8 x 6.1 mm

STEP 67:
Headlight Aim Adjustment

NOTE
If adjustment is necessary, loosen the mounting bolts (2)
and slide the lower portion of the headlight to adjust the
aim vertically.
After the adjustment, tighten the mounting bolts.

STEP 68:
Rearview Mirror Adjustment
Place the motorcycle on a level surface and sit on it. To
adjust, move the rearview mirror according to customer's
weight and riding position.

Never force the rearview mirror against the
holding rod. If necessary, loosen the attaching nut
and move the holding rod to the opposite side in
order to adjust the mirror.
Adjust the headlight aim according to local laws and
regulations.
An improperly adjusted headlight may blind
oncoming drivers, or it may fail to light the road
for a safe distance.
Spoke nipples are made of soft metal. Make sure to
tighten them with a spoke wrench (1) of proper size.
After tightening the spokes, check if the rim is not
excessively bent.
