nstale la tapa de la batería apenas presionándola con las
manos. Nunca bata ni haga esfuerzos a la tapa de sellar.

Vede la batería, usando la tapa que la acompaña. Nunca
abra nuevamente una batería sellada.

PASO 50: 

Carga de la Batería

(1) TAPA DE LA BATERIA

Conecte el cable positivo (+) del cargador en el terminal
positivo (+) de la batería.
Conecte el cable negativo (–) del cargador en el terminal
negativo (–) de la batería.

Corriente de carga/Tiempo de carga:
Normal:  0,4 A/5 – 10 h
Rápida: 4,0 A/0,5 h

PASO 51: 

Instalación de la Batería

(CG125 TITAN KS/CG125 CARGO)

NOTA

Quite la tapa lateral izquierda (pág. 45).

Instale la batería (5) en el soporte (4).
Cierre el soporte y apriete el perno (3).
Conecte el cable positivo (+) (1) de la batería y apriete el
tornillo de fijación.
Instale el protector de goma sobre el cable positivo (+)
de la batería.
Conecte el cable negativo (–) (2) de la batería y apriete
el tornillo de fijación.

Coloque siempre el interruptor de encendido en la
posición OFF antes de instalar la batería.

• La carga rápida deberá aplicarse solamente en caso

de emergencia. Se recomienda el uso de carga lenta
siempre que posible.

• Durante la carga de la batería, no exceda la

corriente y el tiempo de carga especificados.
Podrán ocurrir daños si la corriente fuese excesiva
o el tiempo de carga muy largo.

• La batería produce gases explosivos. No encienda

cigarrillos y mantenga la batería lejos de llamas o
chispas. Provea una ventilación adecuada durante
la carga en sítios cerrados.

• Conecte y desconecte la alimentación de corriente

eléctrica siempre en el cargador y nunca en los
bornes de la batería.

Seal the battery using the cap strip provided with the
battery. NEVER re-open a sealed battery.

STEP 50: 

Battery Charging

(1) BATTERY CAP

Connect the charger positive (+) cable to the battery
positive (+) terminal.
Connect the charger negative (–) cable to the battery
negative (–) terminal.

Charging current/time:
Normal: 0.4 A/ 5 – 10 h
Quick: 4.0 A/0.5 h

STEP 51: 

Battery Instalation

(CG125 TITAN KS/CG125 CARGO)

NOTE

Remove the left side cover (page 45).
Install the battery (5) in its bracket (4).
Close the bracket and tighten the bolt (3).
Connect the battery positive (+) cable (1) and tighten the
attaching bolt.
Place the dust cover over the battery positive cable (+).
Connect the battery negative (–) cable (2) and tighten the
attaching bolt.

Always turn the ignition switch to OFF before installing
the battery.

• Quick charging should only be done in an

emergency; slow charging is preferred.

• For battery charging, do not exceed the charging

current and time specified on the battery.
Excessive current or extended charging time may
damage the battery.

• The battery gives off explosive gases; keep sparks,

flames and cigarettes away. Provide adequate
ventilation when charging.

• Turn the power ON/OFF at the charger, not at the

battery terminal.

Fit the battery cover by only pressing it with your hands.
Never strike or force the sealing wax cover.
