PASO 51A: 

Instalación de la Batería

(CG125 TITAN KSE/ES)

NOTA

Quite la tapa lateral izquierda (pág. 45). 
Instale la batería (5) en el soporte (4).
Fije el soporte y apriete el perno (3).
Conecte el cable positivo (+) (1) de la batería y apriete el
tornillo de fijación.
Instale el protector de goma sobre el cable positivo (+)
de la batería.
Conecte el cable negativo (–) (2) de la batería y apriete el
tornillo de fijación.

PASO 52: 

Llenado de Aceite del Motor 

Apoye la motocicleta en el soporte central sobre una
superficie plana.
Quite la tapa/medidor de nivel de aceite (3).
Abastezca el motor con la cantidad del aceite
recomendado.

Cantidad recomendada: 0,9

Aceite de motor recomendado: MOBIL SUPERMOTO 4T
Clasificación de servicio API: SF
Viscosidad: SAE 20W-50

i

Encienda el motor y manténgalo en ralentí por algunos minutos. 
Pare el motor. 
Quite la tapa/medidor de nivel de aceite (3), límpiela e
insértela en el orificio de llenado de aceite sin enroscarla en
éste.
Compruebe el nivel de aceite.
El nivel de aceite debe estar entre las marcas de nivel
inferior (2) y superior (1) del medidor. 
En caso de que el nivel de aceite esté abajo o cerca de la marca
de nivel inferior (2) del medidor, abastezca con el aceite
recomendado hasta alcanzar la marca de nivel superior (1).
Instale nuevamente la tapa/medidor del nivel de aceite.

Si el motor es accionado sin aceite suficiente, podrá
ser seriamente dañado.

Coloque siempre el interruptor de encendido en la
posición OFF antes de instalar la batería.

STEP 53: 

Throttle Adjustment

Check for smooth throttle grip full opening and automatic
full closing in all steering positions.
Measure the throttle grip free play at the throttle grip
flange.

Free play: 2 – 6 mm (1/12 – 1/4 in)

To adjust the play, loosen the lock nut (1) and turn the
adjuster (2) in or out to increase or decrease the play.
After the adjustment, tighten the lock nut and recheck the
throttle grip play.

PASO 53: 

Ajuste del Acelerador 

Verifique si la empuñadura del acelerador funciona
suavemente desde la condición totalmente abierta hasta
la condición totalmente cerrada, en todas las posiciones
del manillar.
Mida el juego libre en la brida de la empuñadura del
acelerador. El juego libre normal debe ser cerca de 2 – 6
mm de rotación de la empuñadura. 
En caso de que sea necesario ajustar el juego libre, afloje
la contratuerca (1) y gire el ajustador (2) en el sentido
deseado hacia aumentar o disminuir el juego.
Apriete nuevamente la contratuerca y verifique el juego
libre una vez más.

STEP 51A: 

Battery Installation

(CG125 TITAN KSE/ES)

NOTE

Remove the left side cover (page 45).
Install the battery (5) in its bracket (4).
Close the bracket and tighten the bolt (3).
Connect the battery positive (+) cable (1) and tighten the
attaching bolt.
Place the dust cover over the battery positive (+) cable. 
Connect the battery negative (–) cable (2) and tighten the
attaching bolt.

STEP 52: 

Engine Oil

Support the motorcycle on its center stand on a level
surface.
Remove the oil filler cap/dipstick (3). 
Fill the crankcase with the recommended oil.

Engine oil capacity: 0.9

Recommended engine oil: MOBIL SUPERMOTO 4T
API service classification: SF
SAE 20 W – 50

Start the engine, let it idle for 2 – 3 minutes. Next, stop the
engine.
Place the motorcycle on its center stand on a level surface.
Remove the oil filler cap/dipstick (3), wipe it clean and
insert it without screwing it in.
Remove the oil filler cap/dipstick and check the oil level.
The oil level should be between the upper (1) and lower (2)
level marks on the dipstick.
If the oil level is below or near the lower level mark (2), fill
with the recommended engine oil to the upper level mark
(1).
Reinstall the oil filler cap/dipstick.

The engine may be damaged if it is allowed to run
with little oil.

Always turn the ignition switch to OFF before installing
the battery.
