3 Function and device overview
The Homematic IP Wired Wall-Mount Remote Control
has three pairs of individually configurable buttons for
versatile use in the Homematic IP Wired System to mana-
ge devices and operate functions. One touch of a button
can, for example, switch lights on or off, raise or lower
roller shutters or activate/deactivate alarm modes.
Each of the six buttons has an integrated status LED that
can light up, flash or pulsate in seven different colours.
The LEDs can be used to display a wide range of system
states such as actual alarm mode, switched-on lights and
open windows.
The wall-mount remote control has a mounting plate to
enable easy installation in any available flush-mounted
box. The remote control can also be installed into existing
switch series from many manufacturers as an alternative
to using the supplied removable mounting frame.
The wall-mount remote control has exchangeable label-
ling fields for individual labelling according to the func-
tions required. The labelling fields can be amended for
later changes. Different labelling templates are available
in the download area of www.homematic-ip.com.
