10 Restore factory settings
When the factory settings of the device are restored, all settings
will be deleted.
To restore the factory settings of the weather data sensor, please pro-
ceed as follows:
•
Press and hold down the device button
(K)
until the device LED
(J)
slowly starts flashing red.
•
Press and hold down the device button
(K)
again until the device
LED
(J)
starts flashing red faster.
•
Release the device button
(K)
and the factory settings will be re-
stored.
•
The device LED
(J)
stops flashing and the weather data sensor
performs a restart (LED test display: red, green, orange).
Possible error message:
The error listed below can only occur if you have taught-in the
weather data sensor to a central control unit.
If the device LED
(J)
does not start to flash once the button has been held
down but lights up continuously instead, this means the weather data sen-
sor cannot be reset as it is taught-in to the Homematic Central Control
Unit. In this case, the device has been blocked for manual resetting. To re-
set the weather data sensor, you need to use the “WebUI” user interface.
11 General information about radio operation
Radio transmission is performed on a non-exclusive transmission path,
which means that there is a possibility of interference occurring.
Interference can also be caused by switching operations, electrical mo-
tors or defective electrical devices.
The range of transmission within buildings can differ greatly from
that available in the open air. Besides the transmitting power and
the reception characteristics of the receiver, environmental factors
