6.5 Teaching-in
Read this entire section before starting the
teach-in procedure.
To integrate the floor heating controller into your system
and enable it to communicate with other devices, you
must teach it in first. You can use the following set-up
and control options:
Direct pairing
You can teach the floor heating controller directly to the
wired wall thermostat (HmIPW-WTH). The configuration
is then carried out directly via the wall thermostat (see
“6.5.1 Pairing with a (Wired) Homematic IP Wall Thermo-
stat” on page 60).
Connecting to the Homematic IP CCU3
For local, software-based configuration and control via
PC, you can connect the floor heating controller to a
Central Control Unit CCU3 and to use it in comprehen-
sive programs (see “6.5.3 Connecting to the Central Con-
trol Unit CCU3” on page 62).
