OPERATION

OPERATING THE PRESSURE WASHER

See Figure 16.

To clean:

Turn the detergent dial to desired setting: WATER or

G-CLEAN.

Start the pressure washer and spray the detergent on a dry

surface using long, even, overlapping strokes. To prevent
streaking, do not allow detergent to dry on the surface.

Select the right pressure for the job:

Use low pressure to wash items such as a boat.

Use high pressure for jobs such as stripping paint and

degreasing the driveway.

Use a combination of high and low pressure (high flow)

for heavily soiled areas where constant flushing is de-
sired.

 NOTE:

When using either high pressure or a combination

of high and low pressure (high flow), test a small area first
to avoid surface damage.

When the injector looks empty and the water begins

to run clear, turn off your pressure washer and replace
the empty pouch with a new G-Clean detergent pouch.
Additional G-Clean detergent pouches are available at the
retailer where you purchased this product in the following
styles:



Concrete Cleaner and Degreaser (orange) .. AGPWC02



Siding and All Purpose (green) ................... APGWC01



Mold Blaster (yellow) .................................. APGWC03

 NOTE:

One pouch of G-Clean detergent will last up to

30  minutes, depending on water temperature.

To rinse:



Turn dial completely clockwise.



Spray away from the rinsing surface for approximately 10
seconds to allow any remaining detergent to be flushed
from the line.

Start at the top of the area to be rinsed and work down,

overlapping the strokes.

POWER CORD STORAGE

See Figure 17.

When it is not in use, the power cord may be wrapped around

the two brackets on the back of the unit, below the hose reel.
To secure the power cord in place, flip the swivel bracket

to the up position.

MOVING THE PRESSURE  WASHER

To move the pressure washer:

Turn the pressure washer off. Point nozzle in a safe direc-

tion and pull trigger to release water pressure.

Store the spray wand on the unit.

Tilt the machine toward you until it balances on the wheels

then roll the machine to the desired position.

STORING THE PRESSURE WASHER

See Figure 18.

When not in use, store the pressure washer indoors in a low
traffic area.
You must pull the trigger to release water pressure before
attempting to disconnect the nozzle or high pressure hose
for storage. Shutting off unit will not relieve pressure in the
system.

Depress the handle release button. This will allow the

handle to retract. If the handle does not lower on its own,
apply a light pressure to push the handle down.

NOTE: Do not loosen the locking collar when retracting
or extending the handle.

When the pressure washer is needed again, depress and

hold the handle release button while pulling up on the
handle to restore it to normal operating position.

For winterizing and long-term storage:

Disconnect the water connection, if necessary.

Start the pressure washer and allow it to run for a few

seconds to eliminate any water remaining in the pump.

Coil the hoses and place in the hook-and loop strap on the

unit’s handle. Do not allow the hose to become kinked.

Store the unit and accessories in an area that does not

reach freezing temperatures. Do not store near furnace or
other sources of heat that could dry out the pump seals.

CAUTION:

The use of a pump protector is recommended to prevent
cold weather damage during storage over the winter
months.
