 Do not work on the machine if you are tired, not concentrated or under the influence of
medication, alcohol or drugs!
 The machine may only be operated, serviced or repaired by persons who are familiar with
it and who have been informed of the dangers arising in the course of this work.
 Always work with care and the necessary caution and never use excessive force.
 Do not overload the machine!
 Secure the machine against unauthorised commissioning before cleaning, maintenance or
repair work.
11.4 Special safety instructions for these machines
 Mount the machine before first use.
 Use the machine only with compressed air. The machine must not be used with liquids.
 Never let the hose rewind uncontrolled. The hose reel is equipped with a rewind
mechanism operated by a tension spring. A reeling hose can cause injury if handled
improperly. If the rewind mechanism is damaged, the machine must be taken out of
operation and repaired immediately.
 Only use accessories that are in perfect condition and are intended for use with the
machine.
 Never exceed the maximum operating pressure of the machine or the compressed air tool
you are operating with.
 Only connect the machine to a supply which ensure that the maximum permissible
pressure is not exceeded. The supply must be secured by a pressure control valve
(pressure reducer) installed in the compressed air line.
 Protect the hose from heat, oil and sharp edges.
 Check the hose before using the machine.
 Operate the machine only with a compressor
 Operation with compressed air bottles is not permitted.
 The operation of compressed air tools with combustible gases is prohibited. Risk of
explosion!
 Never aim the machine or its hoses against people or animals.
 Disconnect the machine from the compressed air supply before performing maintenance,
adjustment and repair work when changing connectors or when the machine is not in use.
 Do not use the hose to carry the machine.
 Hold the hose firmly when disconnecting it from the supply of compressed air or of a
compressed air tool. Flapping hoses represent a risk of injury.
 Note the safety instructions of the connected devices. Wear prescribed protective
equipment (hearing protection, safety goggles, protective mask ...).
11.5 Hazard Warnings
Despite proper use, certain residual risks remain.

Residual Risks
 Risk of injury due to dust emissions, treated with harmful agent’s workpieces, materials or
dust.
 Risk of injury to the eye by flying debris, even with safety goggles.
 Risk of injury to the hearing by prolonged working without hearing protection.
 Risk of injury due to flapping compressed air hoses.
 Risk of injury due to stumbling over lying hoses.
Despite their intended use, certain residual risks remain. Due to the structure and construction of
the machine, hazardous situations may occur when handling the machines:
