Cutting torch connection
Make sure when the installation is adequate room for inlet and outlet of the cooling air to the
specified duty cycle can be achieved.
The unit should not be exposed to the plasma arc beam and the direct beam radio during sanding
if possible.
The system can be operated with all plasma cutting torches, which have only one common con-
nection for plasma and cooling air and are designed for pilot arc with HF ignition. In order to ex-
ploit the full power of the system, the plasma cutting torch to perform a minimum of 40 and 100A
must be designed. It can be cut with both distance nozzle and resting on the workpiece with
plasma jet.
13.1.1
Connection of the torch
Connect the torch to the terminals provided on the device (Torch) FIG DIPA 40 / DIPA 100th
13.1.2
Ground connection
Connect the ground cable to the jack on the unit. Work clamp to the workpiece with good conductivity, i.e. etc.
not to paint, rust Reconnect.
13.1.3
Compressed air connection
Connect the compressed air supply by means of quick-coupling and the pressure reducer on the back of the
system. It is important to ensure that the compressed air supply (compressor) with the necessary pressure (at
least 2 bar) and the required amount of air is present. The compressed air should be as free of oil and water.
13.1.4
Power supply
Connect the power plug installed on the machine to the mains. Light indicates power supply.
