Bevelling workpiece
Once the adjustment work has been completed and the workpiece is clamped between the bed
and folding beam, you can start bevelling.
-
By lifting the folding beam for bevelling (5)
to the stop, the foding beam bends the
workpiece to the set folding angle.
-
Press the folding beam back down to the
original position.
-
Release the bed beam by pressing the foot
pedal for locking the bed beam (1) and
remove the workpiece.
Setting bevelling forms
By removing the bevelling segments, it is possible to produce trays or boxes. To do this, remove
one or more bevelling segments in order to be able to maintain the distance according to the
inner width of your tray or box.
-
Unscrew the cylinder screw (6) of the
bevelling segment that you want to remove.
-
Remove and pick it up.
Put the bevelling segments together so that the
total bevelling length corresponds to the inner
width of the workpiece.
-
Unscrew the cylinder screw (6) of the
remaining bevelling segments so that they
can be moved (6a) to your desired bevelling
length.
-
Finally, fix the unscrewed cylinder screw(s).
Aligning bevelling segments
Bevelling segments aligned parallel to the bevelling bar are a prerequisite for uniform bending
across the entire width of the workpiece.
-
Lower the bed beam until the bevelling
segments (8) touch the bevelling bar (9).
-
Look closely along the lower edge of each
bevelling segment (8) to see if it is aligned
parallel to the bevelling bar (9).
-
If the edges are not parallel, unscrew the
cylinder screw (6) with an allen key (7) until
the bevelling segment can just be moved.
-
Align the bevelling segment (8) parallel the
bevelling bar (9) and tighten the cylinder
screw (6) again.
