Vehicle Care

Store the spare or flat tyre as shown
below.

This vehicle has a screw in fastener.

1. Replace the foam, jack and

tools, and the tyre in their
original storage location.

2. Place the tyre, lying flat, facing

up in the spare tyre well.

3. Turn the retainer nut clockwise

to secure the tyre.

4. Place the floor cover support

over the retainer nut.

5. Place the floor cover on the

wheel.

Full-Size Spare Tyre

If this vehicle came with a full-size
spare tyre, it was fully inflated when
new; however, it can lose air over
time. Check the inflation pressure
regularly. See

to remove, install, or store a spare
tyre, see

After installing the spare tyre on the
vehicle, stop as soon as possible
and check that the spare is correctly
inflated.

Have the damaged or flat road tyre
repaired or replaced and installed
back onto the vehicle as soon as
possible so the spare tyre will be
available in case it is needed again.
Do not mix tyres and wheels of
different sizes, because they will not
fit. Keep the spare tyre and its
wheel together.
