In Brief

Ensure all doors are closed and
secured.

Position your seat for
comfortable driving.

Adjust rear view mirrors.

Fasten seat belts.

Check the warning indicators
illuminate when turning the
ignition on.

Starting the Engine

The vehicle has an ENGINE
START/STOP button.

Warning

Do not switch the engine off while
the vehicle is moving as there will
not be any power assist for the
brakes.

The Remote Keyless Entry
(RKE) transmitter must be in the
vehicle.

Manual transmission: Depress
the clutch pedal fully.

Automatic transmission: Depress
the brake pedal and move the
shift lever to P or N.

Press the ENGINE START/
STOP button.

The LED will illuminate.

To switch the engine off, press
the ENGINE START/STOP
button again.
