Preface
Thank you very much and congratulations on your choice.
We are glad you choose a product by hofmann gmbh.
By means of infrared technology this thermometer determines the body
temperature in a matter of a few seconds by measuring the warmth send out
from the ear drums or the forehead.
For each thermometer the correct measuring technique is essential
supposition to achieve exact measurements. Please read this instruction
manual thoroughly prior to using your sanowell
® Scaneo.
The sanowell ® Scaneo thermometer has been developed under strict precision
and safety requirements for measurement of temperature in the ear and at
the forehead.
It is equipped as follows:

Three units in a unique design. It can measure temperature in the ear
as well as at the forehead and can also determine the temperature of
the environment, which means that you will only need one device for
these three functions.

Display of time.
•
Instant measurement: The result can be read within seconds.
•
The device does not need protective probe covers, as the probe (not the
entire unit) is waterproof and therefore easily disinfected.
•
Exact high speed measuring.
•
Automatic change from forehead measuring mode to ear measuring
mode by simply removing the tip cover. It is very comfortable and simple
to use.
