8.2 Cleaning the base with motor
• Wipe the base with motor with a slightly damp cloth.
• Wipe it dry.
Attention!
Do not immerse the plug, the power cord or the base of the appliance in
water or other liquids.
Attention!
Do not place any component of the appliance in a dishwasher.
Attention! Do not clean the appliance with any chemicals, alkali, abrasive
or disinfecting agents, as they may damage the surface of the
appliance.
8.1 Basic rules
Proper and regular cleaning will ensure safe operation and extend the life
span of the device.
Warning! Before performing cleaning and maintenance operations, turn
the appliance off, disconnect it from the power source and let it cool
down, so as to avoid burns and electrocution.
8. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
• Do not immerse the body with motor in water or other liquids.
• Do not use corrosive cleaning agents.
• Cleaning the screw-conveyor shaft, the filter, the scraper, the bowl, the feeder
and the pulp and juice containers:
• Immediately after you have finished using the appliance, wash the components
in warm water with some dishwashing liquid.
• The filter is a delicate component and can be easily damaged. Clean it no later
than 10 minutes after you have finished using the appliance, so as to avoid
damage to stainless steel parts. Clean the filter carefully, so as not to damage
it. After every use remove food residues from the filter with the supplied brush.
• The rubber plug in the bottom part of the bowl may be carefully moved aside
to facilitate cleaning. After drying, the plug must be reinstalled in its original
position.
• Wipe the appliance or let it dry thoroughly.
