7.3 DRY IRONING
1 . Place the iron upright .
2 . Set the steam burst power adjustment slider to the / (no steam) position .
3 . Plug the cord into an earthed power supply socket .
4 . Set the temperature control knob to the ironing temperature required for the given
type of fabric (check the garment’s ironing temperature on its laundry care label) .
If no such information is available, use the data provided in the table below.
Attention! Water may remain in the water reservoir during dry ironing .
5 . The indicator light will turn on .
6 . When this light goes out, it means that the iron has reached the desired temperature .

ATTENTION! Always start ironing with fabrics that require the lowest ironing temperature,
then move gradually to materials requiring higher temperatures.
7.4 SPRAY FUNCTION
This function may be used to eliminate the most stubborn wrinkles .
1 . Make sure there is enough water in the water reservoir. If not, go to the 7.2 FILLING
THE WATER RESERVOIR section .
2 . In order to moisten fabric that is being ironed, press the spray button several times .
Water will come out of the spray nozzle at the front of the iron .
7.5 STEAM BURST FUNCTION
Set the temperature control knob to the •••Cotton or MAX position, then press the steam
burst button . Steam will start coming out of the iron’s soleplate . The steam burst function
is useful for removing creases on hanging clothes, curtains etc . This function may also
be used during dry ironing .
