To replace the jug onto the measuring base, slide it back into the guides.
7.3 Weighing
Attention! Before you start weighing anything, wash the removable
jug carefully, according to the instructions in section 8 Cleaning and
maintenance.
• Place the scale on a stable, even and dry surface. In order to ensure correct
readout, do not place the scale on any towel or cloth.
• Press the /TARE button to turn the scale on. First, all the functions that can
be performed by the scale will be shown on the display. After a second, a zero
will be shown for the previously selected unit of measurement (see section
2
Specifications - units ).
• If the displayed unit of measurement is correct, you can start weighing.
• The current unit of measurement accompanied by a description of type of
measurement are shown on the display. If they need to be changed, see the
description in section
7.4 Changing the unit of measurement and selecting
the type of measurement .
• To turn the scale off, press the /TARE button and hold it for ca. 3 seconds.
• The scale will turn off automatically after about 120 seconds of inactivity.
