7.4 Changing the unit of measurement and selecting the type of measurement.
After the scale is turned on, you can change the unit and type of
measurement. To do so, press the UNIT selection button repeatedly.
By pressing the UNIT button repeatedly you can choose amongst the
following units and types of measurements:
WEIGHT (measurement of weight of ingredients): g; lb:oz
WATER (measurement of volume of water): fl:oz; ml
MILK (measurement of volume of milk): fl:oz; ml
Available units of measure: g (gram) / lb:oz (pound:ounce) / ml (milliliter)
/ fl oz (fluid ounce).
7.5 Resetting
After the scale is turned on, it resets automatically regardless of the
object placed on the device. This function may be used for taring when
starting up the scale.
7.6 Taring
After turning the scale on, you can use the taring function for measuring
the weight of a product added to an already measured amount. For
example, if you need to add 30g of sugar to 0.5 litres of water, perform
the following steps:
- set the water volume measuring unit (WATER ml), pour water into the
jug and stop when 500ml is shown on the display.
- after you have finished measuring the desired amount of water, press
the TARE button. Next, with the UNIT button switch the parameter to be
measured to WEIGHT (g) . When the display shows zero, you can add
the required amount of sugar to the already measured volume of water.
7.7 Codes shown on the display
0-Ld Code shown when the maximum load has been exceeded. This
warning will be displayed when the weight of 2 kg (2,000 g) is
significantly exceeded.
Lo Code informing that the batteries are low. Replace the batteries
immediately.
