Warning! Do not use the IPL device around the eyes, nose, neck, on the chin or in
the genital area.
Warning! Do not use the IPL device on the scalp, eyebrows, chin, near the eyes,
ears, nose, nipples, genitals, anus, as well as in areas with various marks,
freckles, moles, warts, bruises, rashes etc.
The IPL hair removal system can be used by men and women at least 18 years
of age.
How does the IPL technology work
With IPL technology, the treated skin is exposed to delicate pulses (flashes) of
light which are absorbed by the hair bulb.
Melanin is a hair pigment that absorbs light to stop hair growth. In addition, the
more melanin in the hair (i.e., the darker the hair), the more light it can absorb,
thus the more effective the IPL hair removal process becomes.
The pulsed light stimulates hair follicles to enter the resting phase. As a result,
hair falls out naturally and its growth is halted.
The hair growth cycle consists of different phases. IPL technology is effective
only if the treated hair is in the growth phase. Not all hairs are in the growth phase
at the same time. Therefore, we recommend an 8-week cycle of treatments,
followed by periodic reapplications to ensure that all hairs have been effectively
exposed during the growth phase.
Warning! The hair removal treatments will not be effective if you have blonde,
light blond or red hair, as fair hair does not absorb the required amount of light.
