Operate the appliance on a flat, stable and dry surface resistant to high temperatures.
28. Caution! Risk of scalding!
The steam emitted by the kettle when water is boiling is hot.
29. Always pull the plug out of the socket after use; and in the event of any malfunction.
30. The appliance contains no parts that could be serviced by the user. Do not attempt to
repair the appliance on your own. Always have the appliance repaired by a professional.
31. If the kettle breaks or cracks, dispose of the product in accordance with local regulations.
32. If you intend to hand this appliance over to a third party, hand over this instruction
manual as well.
33. Do not use the appliance if it shows any signs of damage of the connecting cord or if the
appliance has been dropped onto the floor.
34. Never pull by the power cord to unplug the appliance. Instead, grasp the plug and remove
the plug from the outlet.
35. Fill the appliance with cold and fresh water only.
36. If water is poured over the external electrical components of the kettle or of the base, dry
them completely before you reconnect the appliance to the mains.
