Changing gas cylinders
Do not smoke or ignite open
flames while changing the gas
cylinders. After changing the gas bottles, check whether there
is any gas escaping from the tie-in point by spraying it with
leak detection spray.
When the hose line is connected to the liquid gas bottle,
ensure that it is free of kinks and not subject to stress.
The regulator knob must be positioned above the valve on the
bottle.
Please note that gas-proof surfaces must always be clean and
intact.
• Open the flap of the gas bottle container.

If nece
ssary, pull out the extendable gas bottle container
(see instructions on how to do so on
p. 139
).
• Close the main stop valve on the gas cylinder. Pay attention
to the direction of the arrow.
• Unscrew the gas pressure regulator/ high-pressure hose

by hand from the gas bottle (left-handed thread).
• Loosen the fixing strap and remove the gas cylinder.
• Place a full gas bottle back in the container or the extendab

le gas bottle container and use both fastening straps to lash
it securely.
• Screw the gas pressure regulator/ high-pressure hose

by
hand on to the gas bottle (left-handed thread).
• Open the valve of the full, connected gas bottle (open both
gas bottles when equipped with DuoControl CS).

Press on the hose rupture protection (green button) on the
high-pressure hose
(p. 141).
• Check that gas is not escaping from the connection point
using leak detector spray.
• If necessary, push the extendable gas bottle container back in.
• Close the door of the gas bottle container.
