Connecting 4-Wire Systems

When connecting to 4-wire equipment the following applies:

To minimize noise and meet regulatory requirements, use screened (shielded) cable

when connecting 4-wire ports.

Pinout configuration (Port Function) can be set on all the Base Station 4-wire interfaces.

This is a software switch that switches the configuration of the pins on the RJ45

connectors according to the device you are connecting to. Default setting:
