3. Press GUIDE after you are done with the set-up.
DELETE TAPE NO. DATA
When you want to delete unnecessary tape data or the tape data memory becomes so full that
deletion of some tape data is crucial, use this option as follows.
You cannot erase the data of the tape loaded in the VCR. Eject the tape before performing
the following:
1. Press GUIDE, then press 5.
The "TAPE DATA MENU" will appear.
When "1 TAPE DATA <OFF>" is specified, the options "2 AUTO TITLE <ON/OFF>", "3
DELETE TAPE NO. DATA" and "4 DISPLAY TAPE NO. DATA" are not displayed.
2. Press 3. The screen displays tape numbers, months, dates and days of the week of the last
recordings made on the tape.
3. Press SELECT or button to specify the TAPE NO. you want to delete. Press SELECT
for lower numbers and SELECT for higher numbers.
For example, specify TAPE NO. 4.
4. Press 5. The detailed data of TAPE NO. 4 will appear.
5. Press 9 to clear the TAPE NO. 4 data.
