Use nozzle (curved surface) to heat the frozen area
from the edge to the center. Do not mistake water pipes
for glass pipes.
Take care to avoid damaging frozen resin areas on
water pipes.

Press the quick cooling button and press the switch
to blow warm air at approximately 50 degrees Celsius
for each of the switch’s wind volumes.
This is used to quickly cool material that is heat-
warping and to cool the nozzle when it reaches high
temperatures after using the Heat Gun.
MAINTENANCE AND INSPECTION
1. Inspecting the mounting screws
Regularly inspect all mounting screws and ensure that they are properly tightened. Should
any of the screws be loose, retighten them immediately. Failure to do so could result in
serious hazard.
2. Maintenance of the motor
The motor unit winding is the very “heart” of the power tool.
Prevent any foreign objects, oil or water from getting inside the intake.
3. Replacing supply cord
If the replacement of the supply cord is necessary, this has to be done by Hitachi
Authorized Service Center in order to avoid a safety hazard.
4. Cleaning of the outside
When the tool is stained, wipe with a soft dry cloth or a cloth moistened with soapy water.
Do not use chloric solvents, gasoline or paint thinner, as they melt plastics.

This Parts List will be helpful if presented with the tool to the Hitachi Authorized
Service Center when requesting repair or other maintenance.
