Filling the Water Tank
Fill the Water Tank (located in the Refrigerator Compartment) as follows.
Note: Be sure to thoroughly wash the Water Tank before use for the first time.

Instructions for Removing the Water Tank and Filling
1. Push the button on the Water Tank to open
the water tank rid and fill the tank with water.
1. Remove the Water Tank.
3. Carry the Water Tank by the handle with care.
When the Water Tank becomes empty, the "Tank Empty" lamp
automatically turns on. Refill the Water Tank when this happens.
4. Insert the Water Tank until it passes the "Tank Position" line.
2. Push the button on the Water Tank, open the rid,
and fill the tank with water.

Fill with water up to the “Full” line.
Close the rid to complete
the filling process.

Hold the handle and pull the Water Tank towards yourself.
Ɣ
When carrying the Water Tank, place one hand
below the tank for horizontal stability.
Ɣ
If the Water Tank is not placed into its proper position, the “Tank Empty” lamp will turn on
even if the Water Tank is not empty. When this happens, adjust the position of the Water Tank and make sure that it is pushed all the way in.

The lamp will temporarily turn off when the refrigerator compartment door is opened and closed, but will turn back on if the
Water Tank is still empty.
Ɣ
Germs can multiply quickly when filtered water, dechlorinated water, mineral water, or boiled water is used in the Water Tank.
Be sure to thoroughly clean the Water Tank regularly.

Change the water in the Water Tank once a week.
Ɣ
When not using the Water Tank for extended periods of time, thoroughly clean and dry the water tank and reinstall it to its
place in the refrigerator.
Ɣ
The capacity of the Water Tank is approx. 4 liters.
Ɣ
Do not fill the Water Tank with anything other than water.
(Filling the Water Tank with fluids such as juice, sports drinks, tea, or hot water can damage your refrigerator.
The Water Tank can withstand temperatures up to 50
o
C)
Ɣ
Fill with water up to the “Full” line.
Ɣ
If the Water Tank is not inserted all the way, water will not
be supplied to the Water Dispenser or Automatic Ice Maker.
This will prevent these features from functioning properly.
