8.3.23 Replacing the Gas Spring
Tools Needed: Magnetic Philips Screwdriver (No.2),
E-ring Removal , Long Nose Pliers

Remove the Main Cover, the Side Cover(L) (R), and the Back Cover. For instructions, please refer to
“8.1 Preparation”

Remove the MAIN P/K ASSY (CPS619 P/K). (When replacing the Gas Spring on the right side of the
device) For instructions, please refer to “8.3.2 Replacing the Main P/K ASSY (CPS619 P/K)

Remove the DRV P/K ASSY (CPS619 P/K). (When replacing the Gas Spring on the right side of the
device). For instructions, please refer to “8.3.3 Replacing the DRV P/K ASSY (CPS614 P/K)”

Unscrew 4 bind-head screws from the PK BOX ASSY and slide it towards you.

Remove 2 Stopper E-Rings(TW007) and replace the Gas Spring

Replace one side first, then replace the other side
