Rebooting, shutting down, and
powering off
This section provides instructions on how to reboot, shut down, and power off a server
or cluster.
See the System Installation Guide for details about server software licenses.
Rebooting or shutting down a server or cluster
Procedure
1. Using NAS Manager, log in and select Reboot / Shut down from the Server
Settings page to display the Reboot or Shut Down Server page.
Note: The page has different options depending on the configuration of
your system.
2. Click the button for the action you want to perform as described next:

To reboot a single node, use the drop-down list to select a node,
and then click reboot.

To reboot all cluster nodes simultaneously (sequentially), select the
applicable drop-down option, then click reboot.
Note: Clicking reboot stops all file serving EVSs on the
selected node or all cluster nodes, then reboots the
node/nodes. Rebooting may take up to five minutes.
