3.5 Switching between Fahrenheit and
Celsius, and Erasing All Data from
Memory
To switch between Fahrenheit and Celsius displays,
perform the following operation when turning on the
electrical power:
On shipment from the factory, the HiTESTER is set
to display temperature in degrees Fahrenheit.
1. If, with the power off, the
MEAS
key is pressed to
turn the power on while
the
▲
key is being held
down, the temperature
display will be set to show
the temperature in degrees
Celsius (
゜
C).
2. However if, with the
power off, the
MEAS
key
is pressed to turn the
power on while the
▼
key
is being held down, the
temperature display will
be set to show the
temperature in degrees Fahrenheit ( ).
Changing the temperature display unit erases all
data from memory.
This operation can thus also be used as a memory
erase function.
