Set Storage Settings

You can use a storage server or NVR to store videos.

7.1.1

Set Storage Schedule via Storage Server

Before You Start

•

Make sure your computer has already installed the

Storage Server

that should be selected as the

component when installing client.

•

Activate and add the storage server to the client before setting storage schedule (refer to the

iVMS-4200

Client Software User Manual)

In client software, click

Storage Schedule

to enter the page.

Select the camera in the Camera Group list.

Enable Recording Schedule and Picture Storage in Storage on Encoding Device module.

Select a template in the drop-down list (

All-day Template

Weekday Template

Event Template

, etc.).

Click

Edit

and

Advanced Settings

to set the template.

Select a storage server from the

Storage Server

drop-down list.

Enable

Recording Schedule

and set parameters.

Check Picture Storage in Storage on PC module.
