Do not smoke when refueling or connecting fuel supply, and keep away from sparks, flames, or
other sources of ignition.

Make sure people are clear of the outboard motor when tilting up and down, also be careful not to
pinch any body parts between the drive unit and engine bracket.

Make sure the outboard is out of gear and stop the engine when close to anyone in the water e.g.
