Push the seat part (ST) by activating the position handle (PG), which is under the
central adjusting belt (G5), in the position which is furthest reclined (lying position).

• Release the safety lock (SR) of the safety bolt (SB) on the top of the back of the base
(BT) and pull the safety bolt (SB) sideways out of the base holes (BL). Now the seat
part (ST) is unlocked and will be clapped forward.

• Open the red belt terminal (GK) on the base (BT), which is the closest one to the car three-
point buckle (X) of the diagonal belt of the car.

will be fi xed correctly pull the buckle tongue (V)
from the three-point belt of the car through the seat part (ST) and the base (BT) in
direction of the three-point car belt buckle (X).

• Click the buckle tongue (V) from three-point belt of the car into the three-point belt
buckle (X) with an audible << click >>. Please make sure that the belt is not twisted.

• Now lead the lap belt (W) below the red belt lugs (GN).
Important:
Make sure that the belt of the three-point belt is not twisted or jammed. The belts of the belt
anchor (R) must not be clamped. Please follow strictly the drawings and installation instruc-
tions. If you have any questions, please contact your dealer, the importer or the manufactu-
rer.
1.4.4. Tightening the three-point belt (Fig. 20-23)

child car seat as much as possible into the cushion of the
car seat (eg. with a knee). Firstly pull on the belt near the three-point belt buckle (X).
Now pull the diagonal belt (U) tightly up in direction of the retractor mechanism.

• Insert the diagonal belt into the previously opened red belt terminal (GK) and clamp
the belt fi xed by closing and locking the belt terminal (GK).

• Lead the car diagonal belt (U) over the red marked belt guide (GR) on the back of
the base.

• Now fold back the seat part (ST) and lead the safety bolt (SB) sideways into the base
holes (BL). Finally lock the safety lock (SR) of the safety bolt (SB) at the top of the back
of the base (BT).
Caution:
the safety bolt (SB) has to lock the seat part (ST) completely again with the base
(BT).

• Only if the

is installed fi rmly with the three-point seat belt in the car
seat, the seat can protect your child optimally. Make sure that the belt of the
three-point belt is not twisted or jammed.
