ATTENTION
y
Tasks marked with the X
(3)
symbol must be per-
formed only by an authorised service centre for
the HERON® brand and tasks marked with X
(4)
by
a qualified inspection technician, see below. Other
tasks may be performed by the user themselves.
•
NOTE
X
(1)
Perform the first oil change after the first 5 hours of
operation because there may be fine metal dust from
the engine's bores present in the oil, which may cause
the oil sensor to short-circuit.
X
(2)
An inspection of the air filter must be performed
each time before the generator is put into opera-
tion, since a clogged air filter prevents the supply
of combustion air into the engine, which leads to
its clogging, etc. Clean the filter every 50 hours of
operation according to the described procedure,
when used in a dusty environment clean the filter
every 10 hours or more frequently depending on
the dustiness of the environment. In the event
of heavy soiling or wear/damage, replace it with
a new original part from the manufacturer (part
no.: 8896351C)
X
(3)
These maintenance points may only be performed by
a service centre authorized for the HERON® brand. The
performance of the tasks by a different service centre
or by the user themselves will be assessed as unautho-
rised tampering with the product, the result of which is
the voiding of the warranty (see Warranty conditions).

ATTENTION
According to current regulations in force for the inspec-
tion of electrical equipment, the inspection and checks
may only be performed by an inspection technician
qualified for electrical equipment, who is certified to
perform these tasks, i.e. a knowledgeable person.
In the event that the pressure washer is used in a com-
mercial application then it is necessary for the opera-
tor/employer, in the sense of labour employment legal
regulations and on the basis of actual operating condi-
tions and potential risks, to draw up a plan for preven-
tative maintenance of the pressure washer as a whole.
