NOTE . Whe n any type of ins ulation is installed to
protect the masonry hood from the heat, re me mber the
following compulsory points:
5. The insulation should neve r be in contact with
the cast iron coating of the a pplia nce. This
would preve nt the heat from the cast iron from
being re leased to the atmosphere a nd hence
the s ubse que nt breaka ge of the part.
There should be a minimum clearance
between the cast iron and the insulation (this
distance is determined at the factory, using
the protruding length of the M10.
