What can I do when I receive a broken package

Once the Somat Smart is set up, does it always need a WiFi connection.
No, once you have onboarded your device with the app and set the washing preferences it can work autonomously. However, if you
need to change the soiling degree it should be connected to the Internet to get an updated setting.
In case you have doubts regarding connection of your device to the Internet, shortly press the reset button on the bottom of the
device console. The LED will reflect the current status of your device:
Violet blinking after a few blue flashes – connection is lost,
Constant blue blinking – connection is stable.
If you are experiencing any issues with the connected device, try to take it out from the dishwasher while setting up the soiling
degree and move it closer to the router. To initiate a faster reconnection to the WiFi, shortly press the button on the bottom.
If you have been changing something like ISP (Internet Service Provider), Wi-Fi network password, etc., you will have to set up the
devices again like any normal Wi-Fi enabled device.
I am trying Somat Smart in the home Wi-Fi condition, but its connection is not easy. How to deal with it?
• his device is a Wi-Fi certified product and works like your phone or computer with the same advantages and limitations. If you have
problems to connect the device to your Wi-Fi, make sure that:

You have a normal ISP (Internet Service Provider) router with a Wi-Fi Network running in the 2.4. Ghz frequency of a wireless signal.
• Your ISP router is properly connected to the internet. Hint: Check the rest of your devices if they are working.
• Make sure that the password you have introduced during the on-boarding still works. If your Wi-Fi network password has been
changed, you have to set up your devices again.
• Make sure that you have no Firewall protecting your home WiFi from the new devices.
• Make sure that you have the latest version for the App. We are updating the App to make sure that your experience will be the best.
• You can always reset your device by pressing the button on the bottom of the main console for 5 seconds. The device will reset the
Wi-Fi connection and will be ready for the re-onboarding.
Why does the device lose internet connection? (Blinking Violet)
The possible reason is that the range distance to the router is too large. Bring the dispenser closer to the router or install a Wi-Fi
Repeater in your home Wi-Fi network.
How to remove the refill?
To replace the empty refill unit turn the device upside down above a sink (to avoid drops), press the release button from both sides.
Now pull both units apart. Then insert the new refill unit. The red LED will stop as soon as you connect the new cartridge.
Avoid touching the spill detergent and in case you touch please clean your hands with water.
What can I do when my device is leaking?
Never disconnect a not fully emptied refill unit from the white dosing unit, to avoid leakage and contact with the cleaning fluids.

Why couldn’t I set up my device? I have been trying this for many times.
There are multiple reasons why you may not be able to connect the dispenser to the Wi-Fi:
a.
The most seen issue is that you have typed in the wrong Wi-Fi password.
b.
Another likely reason can be that the smartphone can find the home Wi-Fi, but the dispenser cannot. It would be helpful to bring
the dispenser closer to the router.
c.
It might be also possible that you have activated a firewall, or the router is limited to use for web browsing. The diffuser needs a
free / unlimited access to the internet to work. It could be stuck in setup, if the access is limited.
