7.9 Tracks
A Track is a series of point locations strung together to create a trail or track
on a map. A track can be quickly plotted or shared, to aid navigation through
unfamiliar territory without creating waypoints or routes.
7.9.1 Creating a Track
A Track can be plotted by selecting the
Tools -> Overlay -> Create ->
Track
menu option.
You may now draw a track in one continual motion on the screen or tap single
points on the screen that will be automatically joined. Double tap at the end of the
track to finish plotting.
Once a track has been completed, it can be followed by tracking your current
position (represented by the red flashing dot and crosshairs against the newly
created track. A Track however will not provide any distance and positioning
