7.3 Writing SDOs in the slave device
Some CANopen
®
slave devices require a certain parameterization
of their SDOs on start-up, for example, to make some basic
settings.
To provide a simple solution, a list of SDOs can be communicated
to each CANopen
®
slave device in the CANParam software during
parameterization. These are always written into the device on
start-up.
The required SDOs can be inserted as a list into the CANParam on
the slave.

SDOs can also be written or read from the PLC during operation.
For this purpose, use the FB 24 “CANopen

SDO.”
