Safety Precautions – Risk of Injury
1.3 Safety Precautions – Risk of Injury
When working on the vehicle, there is a risk of injury due to
rolling of the vehicle. The following must therefore be
observed:
• Prevent the vehicle from rolling.
• Additionally place selector lever of automatic
transmission vehicles to P position.
1.4 Safety Precautions – Laser
There is a risk of injury through dazzling the eyes when
working with the laser. The following must therefore be
observed:
• Do not direct the laser beam towards persons, doors or
windows.
• Never look directly into the laser beam.
• Ensure proper room illumination.
• Avoid trip hazards.
• Secure mechanical parts from falling over or becoming
loose.
1.5 Safety Precautions for the Electromagnet
During the work with the electromagnet there is a risk of
injury through pinching and influence of magnetic fields for e.
g. pacemakers, magnetic data carriers and electronic devices.
Therefore regard the following:
• Carefully attach the electromagnet to the angular
adjustment plate in order to prevent pinching.
• Do not leave magentic tools about the solenoid.
• Persons with a pacemaker are allowed to use the
electromagnet only with prior doctor's advice.
• Keep magnetic data carriers and electronic devices away
from the electromagnet.
