Calibrating the Radar Sensor with Magnetic Laser
4. Observe the info and instructions window.
CAUTION
Danger of injury or pinching through heavy parts
The angular adjustment plate may drop when fixing it to
the cross member and may cause injuries.
Ask a second person to fix the angular adjustment plate to
the cross member.
5. Attach the angular adjustment plate (1) to the cross member as shown
in the tool.
The angular adjustment plate must be within the radar sensor area.
The level gauge bubble must be centered.
6. Follow the on-screen instructions.
The radar sensor can be calibrated now.
3.3 Calibrating the Radar Sensor with Magnetic Laser
Depending on manufacturer, model and year of manufacture, the radar
sensor must be calibrated with the magnetic laser.
Proceed as follows to calibrate the radar sensor with the magnetic laser:
1. Connect the diagnostic tool to the vehicle (see user manual).
2. Select >Diagnostics< in the main menu.
